Dear colleagues and friends,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure for me to invite you to the 9th International Conference on Power Electronics – ECCE Asia (ICPE 2015-ECCE Asia) to be held from June 1 to 5, 2015 in Seoul, Korea.
ICPE 2015-ECCE Asia is one of the most important events that bring our members together from around the world to share professional experiences, expand our professional networks, and receive updates on the latest advances in science and technology in the field of power electronics.
The scientific program will provide an opportunity for participants to exchange new ideas and information on many important issues in power electronics engineering. High-standard plenary lectures will be provided by outstanding scholars invited both from academia and industry. The conference will be an occasion for the participants to make new acquaintance and strengthen friendship.
ICPE 2015-ECCE Asia also includes a technical tour program showcasing Korea as Asia's skyrise greenery hub acting as a model for power electronics around the world.
Also, the technical exhibition promises to be another highlight of the conference, where you will be able to see and come in direct contact with the latest innovations in power electronics field and the related industries.
I welcome our colleagues from around the world to the conference, and hope that you will also be able to savor some of the fine attractions that our country offers. Korea, with a five-millennia-long history, is an attractive place to visit and has its own unique cultural heritage, distinct from that of other Asian countries. A visit to the country's numerous historical relics, ten of which are designated UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites, will make ICPE participants' journey all the more special.
I have put together a wonderful team of leaders to plan and prepare the great meeting that we are promising for you. Together with Organizing Committee and International Steering Committee, I am determined to make ICPE 2015-ECCE Asia one of the most successful conferences in the field of power electronics with your help and enthusiastic support. I am excited to welcome you to Korea, and prepare a program that will also give you warm memories to take back home with you.
